The 16-month (+ 3 month EPA) programme is designed to enable professionals across a variety of corporate functions to generate meaningful insights from organisational datasets that lead to tangible business impact. You will learn technical data skills, and how to apply them in your day to day role to make more informed decisions, better allocate resource and engage your stakeholders with high impact insights.

Am I eligible for this programme?
To be funded for the programme, you must:
- Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years and work for more than 50% of your time in England.
- Have a contract of employment covering the full duration of the apprenticeship and be on the PAYE (payroll system) of your employer.
- If on an applicable Visa, you must have enough time left to cover the full duration of the apprenticeship.
- Have a substantial skills gap between your current capability and where you would be on completion of the apprenticeship.
- Have your line manager’s full support to start and complete the apprenticeship.
To apply for the programme, you cannot:
- Currently be studying on a Government funded programme (Paid for via Student Loan, Apprenticeship, College course).
- Be on an Entrepreneur (Tier 1), Student (Tier 4) and Government Authorised Exchange (Tier 5) Visa. Skilled Worker Visas will be reviewed on an individual basis.
- Have a qualification in the similar subject at the same level or higher.

This programme is suitable for you, if in your current role you:
- Work with data and use spreadsheets regularly
- Regularly report on data in some way (you might be building models although this is not a necessity)
- Present or draw meaning from data
This programme is suitable for you if you would like to learn:
- Advanced Excel techniques and formulas e.g. V looks ups, X lookups, and how to connect data sets together
- How to code in SQL, how to use Power BI, how to build Python models
- Advanced analytics; linear regression, logistic regression, time series forecasting
- How to see the bigger picture to find a story in your data and effectively visualise it
Note: You do not need a degree in Maths or Statistics for this programme.

What exactly is an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships combine practical training in a job with study. Apprenticeships have equivalent educational levels.
As an apprentice you’ll:
- be an employee earning a wage and getting holiday pay
- work alongside experienced staff
- gain job-specific skills
- get time for training and study related to your role (at least 20% of your normal working hours)
